Our Dead End Gruner Veltliner is organically estate grown on the sloping hillside above the Similkameen River, where the desert heat and the gentle breeze off the river develop the intense flavours of this exciting wine.  This spicy, crisp wine is a light straw colour with vivid aromatics of lemon, lime, grapefruit, white pepper and subtle vegetal notes akin to lentils and pea shoots.  In terms of taste, you can expect yellow apple, tropical fruit, arugula, sage, ginger, and honey and standout food pairings include Schnitzel, fried chicken, sushi, and curry, sharp cheeses and hard to pair veggies like asparagus and artichokes.
